One advantage for publishing a print newspaper is that print versions provide much more detail in the front page and is a better technology for detailed writing. Whilst one advantage for publishing an online newspaper is that you don't have to leave the house to get it and its better for the environment


2. Explain 2 ways that newspapers are funded (4 marks) 

-cover price
-advertising space
-paywalls
-contributers
-sponsered content 
-events 
-product sales

Q4 




  • Emphasis on privately owned housing through the bold cover line would appeal as a bad thing for the left leaning younger audience who are concerned about problems like this.
  • Emphasis on women as almost glorified freedom fighters shown through the bright purple in the image drawing attention to it, would appeal to their feminist audience who would view women's rights as a big issue.
  • Labour MP represented in a very positive light - 'Defiant' - shown through the emphasis on the cover line, would appeal to a probably relatively predominantly Labour voting audience. 
  • Big emphasis on the food magazine would appeal to and audience that enjoys different cultures and specifically food (unlike most, they can afford to try all these various foods)
