Example Question & Response 

EXPLAIN 2 WAYS THAT NEWSPAPERS ARE FUNDED.

you could talk about: cover price, advertising space, paywalls, contributors, sponsored content, events, product sales

One way that newspapers are funded is through contributors. For example, the guardian offers a subscription service where readers subscribe to receive content on a monthly basis. They also have a section of the website that encourages loyal members to donate to keep the newspaper going.

-this question will test your analysis skills in terms of media language and representation. It could focus on The Guardian/Observer BUT MAY GIVE YOU AN UNSEEN SOURCE
-you should spend 5 minutes on a 5 mark question 
-you should aim to write two short paragraphs
